The camp features luxury tents, eco-friendly lodges, which are designed to provide comfort while maintaining a connection to the surrounding wildlife. The decor highlights local craftsmanship with well equipped and secured tents. My stay in the tent for two was remarkable due to the location and also personalized plans. One of the highlights of my stay was the variety of activities available. Mara Trails offers guided game drives, nature walks, and cultural excursions. The morning and evening game drives were particularly enchanting, with opportunities to see the big 5 !! Also the great migration was beyond words. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife, enhancing the experience significantly.

The game drives... we got the land cruiser customized for low angle photography as per our needs, and it was ready for us when we arrived, with pillows, hot water bottles, beds, blankets, camera bean bags to make our game drives comfortable. Our guide/tracker/driver Mr. Nickson was just amazing, he has great experience with the wild which was more than enough to help us capture such amazing wildlife moments. He always got us into the perfect position for photographing the various elements, that’s the sort of experience personnel which gets you the most amazing photographs and footage. He could spot animals miles away which we had no idea that it was there.

Just came back from a solo trip to Mara. This was my 3rd trip and obviously this time also I stayed at Mara Trails Camp. While planning the trip, I did not had to think twice to make a decision on where I should stay and how to plan the daily safaris. For me now visiting Mara Trails Camp is more like going back to my 2nd home. The team as ever has been just superb. They took good care of me, my food taste was looked at, and ensured that I had a 5 star stay for 1 week.

The camp property is so beautiful that I don’t have words to explain. It gives you that perfect vibe of living in a jungle but with 5 star facilities. It’s a big property so you can use the pathways to walk around and enjoy the nature to its fullest, its like a nature therapy which will clear all your stress. During night you can sleep with the sounds of hippos and other wild animals just live from the surroundings. It’s definitely a thrilling experience.

The game drives were like a dream come true. We had a very experienced local guide help us uncover the magic of Masai Mara. Philipe took us to each corner of the reserve, and we spotted all the big 5. Can't put in words the gratitude we have for his service and expertise. We had a comfortable vehicle, great food, and unbeatable hospitality. They do go out of their way to make your time memorable. Definitely choose Mara Trails for your trip. They are beautifully located near the leopard's home.

Amazing camp located in a wonderful, optimal location for wildlife viewing in the heart of the Maasai Mara. My family and I really enjoyed staying here, interacting with the staff and other visitors. The food in camp is wonderful and a gets a bonus star from me for being vegetarian friendly! I decided to celebrate my birthday in this camp and was extremely satisfied with the hospitality, sightings from the driver, openness of the customized vehicle (perfect for photographers) and amazing sleeping arrangements! Definitely worth a visit!!!

A brilliant property in the heart of Mara reserve. Extremely courteous staff and very good facilities. The rooms are basic but clean and are very eco friendly. A complete wild life experience with animal and bird sounds reverberating through the night. Security is top notch and they take care of even the smallest detail in such a remote location. Being vegetarians the staff went out of their way to help us with brilliant homely food.
Special mention of Sharath who is the manager, the chef who made brilliant food, Edward who handles the dining part. Lastly a big shout out to Philip who took us to safaris and gave us countless memories. And a big thank you to all the staff.

A 5/5 would be too low a rating for Mara Trails!
This was our first time in Africa, Kenya and Mara and we wanted this trip to be memorable but also comfortable. And we got just that at Mara Trails.
The location-inside the reserve gives this place an edge over scores of other camps which are outside the reserve and you end up spending time inside the Mara itself! The camps are eight beside the river so be prepared to be blown away by the wildlife you hear and see sitting right inside your camp! We have seen elephants and Hippos from the common area itself! Your camps are comfortable and nicely decorated with every basic and luxury need you have. They pick you and drop to Nairobi for arrivals and departures too.
